Events for July and August

We have a busy schedule ahead of us for the next couple of months and I am both excited and apprehensive for what we are about to take on!
Although we were hoping to be dealving in, at the deep end by being at Glastonbury this weekend!! Unfortunately our application was turned down this year to trade, maybe next year, so instead we are glued to the radio and the telly watching in envy.
On Saturday 6th July we will trading at the Blackdown Hills Woodland Fair, where we are hoping Mark's trees will go down a storm and my new "Tree of Life" Pendants will be most welcomed.  It promises to be a fun packed day, with lots of activities for all the family to get involved with - lots of wood turning and chainsaw carving.
Instead of Glastonbury we will be going to Tiverton Balloon and Music Festival,  on the 12th-14th July, a 3 day event full of musicians comedians and lots and lots of Balloon flights amongst other things - including traders!

On the 20th July and 31st August, we will be at the Blackdown Hills Business Association Market in Taunton, outside Mr Miles coffee shop, this is a great little market, held right in the centre of town once a month, with more markets in November and December ready for all those Christmas presents!  With about 10 local traders with a wide selection of goods.

On the 26th - 28th July we have our second music festival at Farmfest in Bruton, Somerset.

This is a great Charity event, with loads of live bands, it should be great!
In August we hit the ground running! On the 1st August we will be at the Honiton Show in the big Blackdown Hills Business Association marquee.  Where we will be joining a whole host of local businesses.

We will also be popping back to my old stomping ground and be back on Bude's Wharf to join the gang at the Bude Farmers and Crafters market on the 2nd, 9th and 16th August, where we will be entertained by my daughter and a couple of her friends who will be busking, singing their favourite (modern) songs.

On the 3rd August we will be at Silverton Street Market (between Cullompton and Crediton) which this year has a Mythes and Legends theme.

On the 23rd- 26th August we will be at our last and biggest three day event of the year at Watchet Music Festival. Where the likes of Showaddywaddy, The Hoosiers, The Wurzles and Dr and the Medics are playing! Its a family friendly music festival with fantastic views over the North Coast of West Somerset. With 3 stages and over 50 live acts.

And besides all that I will also be going to Honiton Street Market every Tuesday, Bath Friends Meeting House on the 10th August and Hemyock Village market on the 17th August.
Luckily September will be a little quieter, I think we will need it!! Then we have the Christmas rush!!
