Markets

Well the new season of markets has now started and with the Easter Holiday holiday makers at the beginning of the month, it has been a good start. Starting with Bude Farmers markets on Fridays which now they are in their third year are really starting to become popular, we have all the normal regular stall holders that have been attending for most of those three years (including myself) and lots of new stall holders with fresh food and crafts making the market a really enjoyable experience.  I love this market as everyone is friendly, we all help each other getting up the gazeebos and catching them if the odd one tries to make it to the canal in the wind!! (Many of us have learnt the hard way and are on our second or third gazeebo which we heavily weigh down!!).

Saturday 7th April was the first of the Ruby Country Markets, we had a good turn out of stallholders which stretched across the whole site and the visitors turned up in their hundreds to see what was on offer, by the sounds of it helping to sell out all the food producers! I am looking forward to the next one on the June bank holiday weekend.

The rest of this month I will only be at Bude Farmers markets on Fridays, then I hit May with an evengence with Rosemoor for 3 days and then Holsworthy Family workshop and Caerhays castle the following weekend and of course Bude Farmers markets every Friday.
I love this time of year as it gets me out and about meeting lots of new people and spreading the word of the shop.
