With the Easter bank holiday weekend nearly over, it's back to work, we had a lovely afternoon with a joint effort Sunday lunch with my parents (who live next door) and Mark's parents who were down for the weekend.

I have just sorted out a big pile of cards for Mark to sign (that will put a smile on his face!) ready to take to Glastonbury and Wells over the next couple of days. Including lots of the new paintings which seem to be going down a treat!

And then I think I will make a few pieces of jewellery. This afternoon tho I will get out on the veg patch and take Rowan to the Wellington Monument for a stroll.

Easter Weekend

I am now loving the fact that after 3 weeks of working on it I have now finished what I needed to do to the website to hopefully get it up to speed - for now!!

So what to do now?

Well I have been banned from making mosaics in the sunroom as that is where the cats sleep (on their very own sofa!!!) and Marks worried all the little shards of glass will get in their feet (quite rightly) so I have to move into the studio - which is fine in the summer!

We  have Marks parents coming to stay this weekend as its Easter so its a good time to give the house a spring clean!

The wind has been a bit of a nuisance this week, with two markets cancelled, but hopefully we have seen the worst now and things will start to settle a bit, although Wednesday at Wells was eventful this week with market umbrellas flying in the wind - luckily not mine as I had taken extra weights, phew!

Mark is busy painting away his next painting which will come with a little surprise!!
